So Much For Good Intentions
I broke my rule of not buying any yarn until my stash was at a manageable level. I didn't break it just a little, I broke it big time this week. My only excuse is that I'm going to be kind of house bound for 6 weeks after tomorrow. I'm having my foot operated and I'll be in a cast for most of the summer, yuck.
So I blew it, on 14 skeins of Nuro Kureyon...
Three skeins of Nuro Silk Garden...
And one skein of Noro sock yarn...
This of course is being done mostly from the stash and should be finished by the end of the week.
The other big purchase this past weekend was a 42" Plasma tv for the living room. Our old tv had lost half the picture and went to the dump about a month ago. I have all my movies piled up ready to watch while I knit and recover from tomorrow's surgery.
Just helping out the economy...

I love Noro. Can't wait to see what you make with it!
I donated some Noro for the silent auction this weekend. It just wasn't getting used.
Good luck with the surgery. I hope you're back on your feet sooner than you think. Enjoy your movie fest. I hope you have Moonstruck and The Princess Bride. They always cheer me up.
Carmen, I don't have a plan yet but I'm sure something will turn up.
Rudee, I don't have those two movies but lots of Sex in the City episodes..
Good luck with the surgery. I hope after the recovery you can feel like you have a new foot. I am wondering if this is the one you were telling me about when you thought you broke a toe and it was actually part of your foot? I still have some pain from that incident I had and wonder about it. May get it x-rayed one of these days. The TV and beautiful yarn sound like a great way to recover.
at least you blew it on something really good!! Hope everything goes well with your surgery! ((hugs))
Amanda, I'm in the recover phase and no knitting is getting done. Zero concentration unfortunately, not even vanilla socks, sigh...
Just had to comment on the cute name of your blog - lol
Great stash enhancement. Hope you are doing ok and getting plenty of knitting done while that foot's mending.
Thanks Jane, I'm counting the days to the 23rd when the cast comes off for good. Knitting is going on behind the scenes.
