Almost Finished
I am having so much trouble finishing something right now. I have been working on these socks since May 4th and they are still not done.
I had to first sock three quarters finished the day I took my Mom to emergency, but from there on in it slowed down. Even though I spent hours at the hospital I just didn't seem able to knit, there was always something to do or someone to talk to.
I hope to get them finished in the next couple of days. They are not for me, they are for my Mom when she gets up and starts walking. I hope that will be soon.

you can finish a sock in 2 days?!? Those look like 1's! oohhh.. I'm so jealous right now, really :-P
They are 1's, it's all I use for socks. It was a long 13 hours in emergency, I knitted non stop. I expect to have the second one finished in a couple of days:)
What a nice thought for your mom. I think they are very cheerful, she'll love them.
Yup, she can hardly wait...her mental state is way better than it was a couple of weeks ago, thank goodness.
