It's Been A While
Those of you who read my other blog know the reasons for being absent over here.
Now that I can see again I'm doing a little knitting. I suspect that in the next couple of weeks I'll get lots of stuff done since my husband is in Greece. I don't have to do anything else except take care of myself.
I finished the Socks of Kindness and the recipe can be found here.
I also started another pair of Jaywalkers. I really like that pattern and it's easy to memorize. Just what I need right now with all the stress, something mindless.
I've already turned the heel on the first sock and I only started these on Thursday just after my sweetie left for Greece.

Wow! That a fast knit for the jaywalkers. I like the yarn.
Rudee, I have nothing else to do but sit and stare at the phone waiting for it to ring. So I knit and worry. Jaywalker is an easy pattern with only two rows to memorize, piece of cake. Speed, well I learned that when we did the Sock Wars thing...ciao
How funny that we chose the same. Sorry to here about your MIL. I'll be thinking of you. Love the socks. Just started a pair of Cooky A's myself.
Hi Jan, it's pretty easy on the eyes that's why I chose it.
Rositta, have just featured you as an example of someone who is preserving beautiful skills and knowledge from before our time.
Megan, thank you.
