There Is Some Knitting Going On

I'm still working on the messenger bag and it's slow going. The yarn is doubled up, the needles are too large and it's way too hot and humid for knitting. I only need 3 more inches before I can start the flap. I sure hope it felts down to the correct size.

Also on the needles are another pair of socks, one can never have too many.

Were leaving for Greece early September and Olympic Airlines has a ban on knitting needles. Can you imagine 12 hours on a plane without knitting? Neither can I, so I'm trying to figure out how to smuggle my 6" dp bamboo needles on board so I can at least quietly knit socks.

I did have one more picture of the bag but blogger is not cooperating tonight. I keep getting error messages, oh well...

hi,

I'd like to thank you for visiting my site.

12 hours without nothing to keep your mind off the flight? That's too much. Not to mention the two hour stay at the airport, huh?

I've been to Canada thrice. I see that you're from Toronto. Been there in 2001. I mostly stayed in Richmond and has seen lots of Vancouver. I love Canada. I just hope I could see it again.

Welcome Rolly, yes Richmond is very nice, we were in Vancouver many years ago. Canada is beautiful, next time try Calgary and Banff, the other side of the Rocky Mountains...

Been there, too. The long drive from Vancouver to Calgary is always perfect. Great scenery.

And yes, Banff and Lake Louise. Oh man, I can go on and on...

Niagara Falls... Victoria Island, Butchart gardens...

Boy, you sure brought back a lot of memories.

Great colors and stripage pn your new sock! I know this sounds horrible, but maybe you could hide your dpns in an empty pen.. but you might end up getting thrown off the plane. 12 hour without knitting? urgh!
I hope your foot is feeling better and the meds are working well for you. Let me know if you can't find any puffy paint, I can always mail some to you : )
