I've Joined The War - The Sock War
My friend A Knitting Nurse encouraged me to enlist in this war so I did. The deal is to kill your opponent with a finished pair of socks, got that? I didn't quite get it either but you can read about it here and maybe enlist yourself, if you like knitting socks that is.
Since I knit a lot of socks and I think I'm pretty quick at it, unless it's a horribly complicated pattern I should get at least past the first round, I hope. I better go practice a little...

I didn't think about that. I tried to send my sister in Qatar a prayer shawl and DSL wanted the cost of 6 prayer shawls to send it to her. I waited until she flew home to give it to her.
