My Mood - My Knitting
I've got the flu and this is the view from my sofa. It's been raining, snowing and sleeting off and on for days with more to come tomorrow.
Lying around though is conducive to knitting though, between the snoozing so I did get one sock finished and the second one started.
I did have the whole sock leg done in a pattern, the name of which escapes me for the moment but it didn't lend itself to the colors of the yarn. So I frogged it and started again in a plain stockinette stitch.
I've also done some work on my Central Park Hoodie and about 12 inches of the back are knit. I hope to finish the back this weekend and take some pictures.

I hope you're on the mend. I hate the flu. I had it in February and it knocked me down low. It takes awhile and sounds like you're getting rest. The key is the fluids. Here is my mantra: "fluid's the solution to viral pollution." It's a good one to remember.
I'm still housebound, in fact I missed our bridge night today. Lots and lots of water are going down my gullet...ciao
Hi Rositta, I was just perusing the latest offerings on your knitting blog. I still haven't had the nerve to try making a pair of socks. Perhaps if I apply the idea that they are really big booties (I crochet those) that will get me going. Sorry to hear you are under the weather. Wishing you well. BTW, love the clown in the window. Hi Annie, socks are easy, try it and you will see...I made that clown during one pretty awful period in my life back in the day when I did stained glass. I keep it to remind myself that no matter how crummy I might feel, things could always be worse...ciao
